Anna is a biotechnologist and genetic engineer; she has also experience in human resource management. She completed her PhD at the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics, Polish Academy of Sciences. Her doctoral thesis received an award from the Polish Biochemical Society and Merck & Co. - for the best doctoral thesis in biochemistry in 2007 in Poland. She expanded her skills in the area of IP and technology commercialization in the UK at Oxford and Cambridge Universities and at the European Patent Office in Vienna, Austria. Anna participated in the development of human growth hormone and human insulin analogue as an assistant professor at the Institute of Biotechnology and Antibiotics. She is the author and co-author of 6 patents. Before joining Dystrogen Therapeutics, she was president of IBAkteria sp. z o.o, where she was responsible for business strategy and commercialization. Anna was also the manager of the development and R&D projects. In 2018 she completed the Executive MBA study at the Warsaw School of Economics.
